Below you will find the information required for the various tours and the attractions we visit. Use this resource to help you plan what to wear and carry on your tour. There is a weather predicting application at the bottom of the page but we make no promises as to the accuracy of the forecast.


​Blue Mountain Path Finder

  • Sneakers/shoes with a good grip for walking on the farm. 
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunblock/sunscreen
  • Money for lunch - average US$10 per person
  • Camera
  • Health - good knees and a good back as you will walk up and down a slope
  • Optional - money to buy coffee
  • Optional - money to tip the guide at the farm

Expect the temperature to be on average between 25 C/77 F and 30 C/86 F. 

Journey to Ocho Rios

  • Sneakers/water shoes/shoes with a good grip to climb Dunn's River Falls. Note they sell water shoes for US$10/pair. Flip flops are discouraged.
  • Clothes that can get wet, e.g. bathing suit, t shirt and shorts
  • A change of clothes
  • A towel
  • Insect repellent
  • Sunblock/sunscreen
  • Money for lunch - range US$10 - US$25 per person
  • Waterproof camera - you will get wet and the camera will get wet
  • Health - good knees and a good back as you will walk up for 900 feet
  • Optional - money to buy souvenirs in the craft market

Journey to the Maroons

  • Comfortable shoes (especially given that dancing is required :) )

Portland Day Tour

  • Sneakers/water shoes/shoes with a good grip to climb Reach Falls. Note they rent and sell water shoes (sale price US$10/pair). Flip flops are discouraged for walking on the Falls. You can also walk barefooted on the Falls.
  • Clothes that can get wet, e.g. bathing suit, t shirt and shorts

  • Waterproof camera for pictures on the Falls - you will get wet and the camera will get wet

Taste of Jamaica Food Tour

  • An appetite! We recommend that you avoid having a large breakfast on the day of the tour.
  • We love you vegans and vegetarians but at this time we do not have a tour that caters to your needs. 
  • An appreciation of spicy food. The food won't be so hot that steam will be coming from your ears but if you cannot consume moderate amounts of pepper you will not enjoy the tour.
  • Money to buy fruits in the produce market. Small bills (J$100, J$500) are better.

  • Camera - note that in Kingston you should ask for permission before taking someone's photograph.

Walking Tour

  • Avoid wearing expensive jewelry, keep money well secured and avoid flashing around expensive phones and cameras.
  • If it's the free walking tour you will also need money for the buses - J$200 in total. The buses won't take US$.
  • Camera - it is important when taking photos of people to always ask their permission first and to accept it if they say no.
  • Health - ability to walk for a few hours
  • Optional - money to buy keepsakes, souvenirs, art prints

Temperatures can vary from 25 C/78 F (during the cooler months, November to March)  and 36 C/ 96.8 F during the summer months.
